Webinar: From bankability to alternative financing

Securing adequate financing for social and affordable housing construction and renovation remains a significant challenge for housing cooperatives, SMEs, public bodies and third-sector organisations. The financial characteristics of the sector often make it difficult for projects to meet bankability requirements, particularly under traditional bank lending and equity investment models. However, a range of viable and complementary financing approaches is emerging across Europe.

On February 17, from 11:00 to 12:15 CET, this webinar will explore how to build a robust investment case for social and affordable housing projects, present alternative pathways beyond traditional financing models, and showcase concrete examples of how projects can move forward even when full bankability cannot be achieved.
